About Siri Bardarson
Whether a jam jar, a street scene in Spain or a slice of loganberry pie, if the moment hums to me, I draw it. I work to relay energy and express a reportage of the daily.
I am a digital artist and I use the application Paper on my iPad Pro and iPhone.
My work is always "live." I rarely work from photos or staged still-life. I do not use layers or filters. My technique is gestural and fun, sometimes using a stylus, sometimes just my finger, and I love color.
My work is on view at the Whidbey Art Gallery in Langley, WA. I have been a featured artist with the Whidbey Island Working Artists Tour, Best of Show in Drawing at the Whidbey Island Fair, special show participant at Museo Gallery, among other venues.
A Northwest native, I have lived on Whidbey Island for many years. My island home has a huge creative influence on me. When not making art, I play my cello a lot!
"Come see what I see."
